Compression (AON)
Access On Network provides rapid access to images over
slow internal or external networks by using Wavelet compression
algorithms. At all times, the system keeps up to three different
compressed images, according to needs, while maintaining throughput
and image quality. |
 |
|
Subscription
Subscription allows users to subscribe to, or reserve, specific
folders and to store the images of that folder on the local
workstation for immediate access. This function is very useful for
special care units like emergency, orthopedics, etc. |

Patient

different series of images acquired for various exams, etc. are
readily available. |

FCR Image Processing at
the Console Fuji, having been the pioneer and leader
in the acquisition of CR images for more than 20 years, used their
acquired experience in designing SYNAPSE
PACS. The technology in SYNAPSE
not only gives professionals the ability to process FCR images at all
types of consoles, but also gives them the ability to apply special
processing to FCR images in accordance with specific pathology
types, and to highlight abnormal pathology in order to facilitate
diagnosis. |
 |
|
Multi-View
This tool enables the user to see the exams of other SYNAPSE
PACS centres without having to store the exams in its own local
database. This is very useful in a regional enterprise where
centralized reading is located at one site and local storage is
maintained at each of the other sites. |
 |
|
Integrated
WEB Portal By the fact that SYNAPSE
has WEB Technology integrated into all of its systems, it is very easy
to use SYNAPSE
as a general viewer throughout the healthcare enterprise, and to use
its unique WEB portal to connect with all information systems that
are needed for building a complete profile. |
